Sacha Boey’s time at Bayern Munich could be coming to an end, with Saudi Arabia emerging as a potential destination for the French right-back.
According to a report from Sport Bild’s Christian Falk (as captured by @iMiaSanMia), Bayern Munich are currently in active talks with clubs from the Saudi Pro League as the club looks to finalize a move for Boey. The 25-year-old is reportedly open to a move to Saudi Arabia in principle, which could help facilitate negotiations between the parties:
Bayern are in active talks with Saudi Pro League clubs to try and finalize a move for Sacha Boey. The player is open to a move to Saudi Arabia in principle. Boey is now represented by family members after he parted ways with agent Moussa Sissoko.
Boey arrived at Bayern Munich from Galatasaray in January 2024 with significant expectations, but his time in Bavaria has been disrupted by injuries and inconsistent playing time. He has struggled to establish himself as a regular starter and now appears to be a player Bayern Munich are willing to move on from.

There has also been a change off the pitch. Boey has parted ways with his longtime agent, Moussa Sissoko, and is now being represented by members of his family.
With Bayern Munich actively negotiating with Saudi clubs and Boey receptive to the possibility of making the move, this is certainly a situation worth watching.
The question now is whether Bayern Munich can find the right deal and finally close the chapter on Boey’s frustrating spell in Munich.
