Taking a page from the incredibly popular Phillips Backyard Music Festival on Vancouver Island, Ladner-based Barnside Brewing Co. launched the Barnside Brewing Co. Harvest Festival in 2022.

The 2026 lineup has just been announced for this year’s festival and it’s loaded with big-name acts.

Among the artists appearing are: Big Wreck, Tom Cochrane, Marianas Trench, Smash Mouth, Kim Mitchell, J.J. Wilde, The Washboard Union, The Grapes of Wrath, and Jake Vaadeland and the Sturgeon River Boys, as well as such rising local stars as Hotel Mira and Imogen Clark. With a focus on family friendly, fun entertainment including live music and other performers, adult beverage areas, food trucks and all manner of additional exhibitors and activities, the event has now expanded to included three stages.

Over 80,000 folks have attended the event over the years and that is why the 2026 version has grown to include two headlining acts over each of the three nights.

Given the rural and farming foundations of the Ladner and Delta regions, The White Spot Family Zone presented by J.R. Country will feature such classic agrarian fare diversions as a hay maze, farm toys and other carnival games.

The Vancity Artisan Village boasts over 100 regional artisans selling assorted arts and crafts, and the Dueck Cadillac and Delta stages will showcase a who’s-who of local and national chart-topping musical acts.

A big bonus for craft-beer lovers is the Sunday afternoon B.C. Ale Trail’s Craft Corner featuring over 20 of the region’s top craft breweries specialty drafts. The bar program will also include NiceLife Cocktails, Soma Cider, Country Vine Wine, the namesake Barnside Brewing Co. products, and non-alcoholic options.
