Watch: Bad Bunny Is Unrecognizable As an Old Man at Met Gala 2026
You should definitely take more photos of Bad Bunny.
After all, the “DtMF” singer was totally unrecognizable after he completely transformed into an old man for the 2026 Met Gala at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City May 4.
Dressed in a sleek black Zara suit for the “Fashion is Art” dress code, the 32-year-old looked more than twice his age with a head full of gray hair, including a full beard and bushy eyebrows. In addition to the aging makeup on his face and hands, he also donned a face full of prosthetics created by Mike Marino, the make up artist behind many of Heidi Klum’s viral Halloween costumes.
After posing on the carpet, Bad Bunny ascended the stairs with the black and gold cane he brought. (See all the celebrities at the event here.)
This year’s appearance marks the fifth consecutive show-stopping look for the singer (real name Benito Antonio Martínez Ocasio). Last year, he wore a brown suit fitting of the “Tailoring Black Style” theme, while the year before—when he was a co-chair alongside Zendaya, Jennifer Lopez and Chris Hemsworth—he sported a corseted John Galliano suit.
“This is a very special outfit,” he told Vogue on the carpet last year. However, he noted, “I’m wearing a corset too, so I can’t breathe at all.”
Despite the mishap, though, he was happy to be one of the event’s co-chairs.

“It’s a responsibility, but also an honor. It’s been a beautiful experience,” he continued. “Tonight is going to be very fun, I hope. Previous years have always been great, so I hope this year, too.”
“I’m having a good time,” Bad Bunny added. “I don’t feel any pressure or responsibility. I just enjoy.”
Of course, Bad Bunny isn’t the only celebrity to turn heads on the carpet of the 2026 Met Gala. Keep reading to see all the stars who showed up and showed out.
