Auburn football is moments away from hosting the Florida Gators for its SEC opener in Jordan-Hare Stadium.
The Tigers are 2-0 with wins over Baylor and Southern Miss, while Florida has also earned two wins, defeating Florida Atlantic and Campbell. Saturday’s game between the Tigers and Gators is the first since 2019, when Florida took down Auburn in “The Swamp”, 24-10. The last time these two teams played in Auburn, the Tigers emerged victorious, 17-6 in 2011. Auburn has won three straight games over Florida in front of their home crowd, dating back to 2001.
