Edo North senator, Adams Oshiomhole, on Monday narrated how the African Democratic Congress, ADC, presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, married Jennifer Douglas from the Southeast and divorced her after losing the presidential election.
Oshiomhole, the former governor of Edo State, claimed that Atiku promised to make Jennifer his First Lady if he won the presidential election but failed.
He made the claims at the All Progressives Congress, APC, presidential campaign rally in Calabar, the Cross River State capital.
The lawmaker also cautioned the former vice president against abusing President Bola Tinubu.
According to Oshiomhole: “Like somebody said the other day that Atiku went to the Southeast and said, ‘If I win election, your daughter would be the First Lady, that was when he married Jennifer.
“Because he likes abusing our president, so we must reply: he married Jennifer, set up a foundation for her and at the end of the day, he lost the election, and he went ahead and divorced her; he took her to court, is that not true? We must have the courage to mention their names if they have no respect for mentioning our leader’s name.”
