Here is cornerback Kalen King.
King enters his third NFL season, although he is considered a first-year player in terms of accrued seasons.
He was drafted by the Green Bay Packers in 2024 in the seventh round and spent basically the entire season there. He was elevated to the active roster once but did not play.
He did not make the Packers’ roster out of training camp and signed with the Carolina Panthers‘ practice squad. He spent two stints there and was signed to the active roster once, appearing in one game. He played seven snaps on special teams.
In Week 17, the Cardinals signed him to their active roster from Carolina’s practice squad but he was inactive for the final two weeks of the season.

He is scheduled to make a little more than $1 million in salary in 2026 and will count that same amount against the salary cap. If he is not cut, he will be am exclusive rights free agent in 2027.
King is an unknown. As of right now, he appears to be a long shot to make the team. The Cardinals have a competitive cornerback room with three to four spots already locked in. His best shot is probably on the practice squad.
