The Arizona Cardinals are hoping for the development and improvement from their younger players. One player they need to be better in 2026 is outside linebacker Jordan Burch, their third-round pick last season.
As a rookie, Burch had one sack, one tackle for loss, one quarterback hit, 23 tackles and three tipped passes in 504 defensive snaps.

Since the Cardinals did nothing to change their outside linebacker room this past offseason, Burch is expected to improve and do more.
What did defensive coordinator Nick Rallis see from him in the offseason program?
“(He’s) moving well,” he said, noting that Burch has been improving at getting off the line of scrimmage when the ball is snapped.
“I’ve been really stressing him on getting off the ball to stress these tackles,” he said. “He’s so powerful, but that can be a tool. He can either win the edge with speed or open up that power, so he’s doing a really good job in terms of that, and then just overall understanding of what he has to do from a run game perspective, cover perspective.

“You definitely can see the strides in Year 2. He’s not making the same mistakes he made a year ago.”
