CUPERTINO (The Verge) — Fresh leaks from the supply chain suggest that Apple’s upcoming 10th-anniversary Apple Watch, dubbed the “Series X,” may feature a limited holographic display capability.
According to a report by analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, the device will utilize micro-LED technology to project simple notifications and maps slightly above the screen surface.
While Apple has not commented on the rumors, tech enthusiasts are buzzing about what could be the biggest wearable leap in a decade. The device is expected to launch in September 2026.
