The Jigawa State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has lifted the suspension of the member representing Auyo/Hadejia/Kafin Hausa Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Hon. Ibrahim Usman Auyo.
This was contained in a letter signed by the State APC Chairman, Hon. Ahmed Garba MK, and addressed to the lawmaker.
According to the letter, the decision followed a careful review of the circumstances surrounding the lawmaker’s suspension, which was communicated on May 31, 2026.
The party said its State Executive Committee (SEC) had approved the lifting of the suspension with immediate effect.
”The State Executive Committee (SEC) of the party wishes to convey to you that your suspension as indicated in the letter is hereby suspended with immediate effect,” the letter stated.
The APC explained that the decision followed its satisfaction with the lawmaker’s loyalty and obedience to the party and its leadership.
”The Party (after careful and proper check-up of the circumstances) surrounding the suspension is now fully satisfied with your good loyalty and obedience to the party and its leadership,” the letter added.
The party also congratulated the lawmaker on his reinstatement and urged him to continue contributing to its growth and development, particularly ahead of the 2027 general elections.
”While I once again congratulate you on this development, kindly continue to give your best for the growth and development of the party in all aspects (including the forthcoming general elections),” the chairman stated.
DAILY POST reported that, the APC in Jigawa State had earlier suspended Hon. Ibrahim Usman, and six party officials over alleged anti-party activities.
