Ao Tanaka was voted Hisense Player of the Match by Leeds United supporters following Saturday’s 1-1 draw with Brighton & Hove Albion at the Amex Stadium.
The Japan international received 63% of the supporters’ vote after playing a key role in Leeds taking the lead in the 15th minute.

Tanaka provided the assist for Jayden Bogle, with the full-back following up to fire home after the midfielder’s shot had been saved.
He was involved throughout his 73 minutes on the pitch before being replaced by Harry Wilson, recording 37 touches and completing 19 accurate passes.
The midfielder covered 8.4km, registered nine sprints and reached a top speed of 30.4km/h.
Tanaka also had two attempts on goal, with one striking the woodwork, while he created one big chance and completed eight carries.
His defensive contribution was equally notable, with three clearances, three recoveries, two tackles and four duels won.
He also appeared to have scored himself, but his effort was ruled out after his arm was deemed to have been in an offside position.

Tanaka’s all-round display also earned him five points for Fantasy Premier League managers.
The midfielder comfortably topped the supporters’ poll, with Tarik Muharemović second on 9%, followed by goalkeeper James Trafford on 8% and goalscorer Bogle on 7%.
