Analyst Karl Ravech, who led ESPN’s baseball coverage for years, believes that the Dodgers have shown the ability to “turn it on in October” and put the team’s signature on the season.
Ravech gave his opinion on “Foul Territory,” pointing out how well both Milwaukee and Tampa Bay had played during the regular season and appeared to be on track to play in the World Series. “I think both of those teams have a great chance to meet for the World Series, but there’s another team that has to be considered,” Ravech said. “You’re not supposed to be able to turn it on in October, but that’s what the Dodgers are built to do.

Ravech pointed out that the Dodgers have depth that no other team can match and they also have so many talented pitchers that could allow them to make another run at the World Series for the third straight season.
The Dodgers defeated the Atlanta Braves in the National League Division Series and they will face the Brewers in the NLCS. That series gets underway Sunday in Milwaukee.
