Watch: Taylor Swift, Travis Kelce’s Wedding Guests Leave Rehearsal Dinner With Gift Boxes
Amy Schumer knows it was not an invitation—but shemade the joke anyway.
The comedian trolled Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce for not adding her to the guest list of their star-studded wedding in New York City alongside their friends including Dakota Johnson, Bradley Cooper, Gigi Hadid, Zoë Kravitz, Camila Cabello, Ed Sheeran, Karlie Kloss and more celebs.
Sharing a photo of herself dressed far too casually for such a white veil occasion, Schumer quipped, “Rehearsal dinner was sick. Who know [sic] what she has planned for us tonight.”
In the makeup-free pic, Schumer rocked athleisure with a straw visor hat and a fanny pack.
Though she didn’t call out the couple by name, the Trainwreck star joked in another post that she even tried to sneak into their nuptials at Madison Square Garden, posting a photo of her onscreen wedding to Michael Cera from the Hulu show Life & Beth with the caption, “Okay so why weren’t we allowed in?”
Swift and Kelce ended up inviting about 1,000 guests to their wedding July 3, in addition to a rehearsal dinner on July 2 with Selena Gomez, Jack Antonoff, Lena Dunham and more of their inner circle.
While the Grammy winner and Kansas City Chiefs star have kept much of their wedding planning private, Swift previously teased that their big day would be “huge.”
“I’m so excited about it,” she told Graham Norton last October while extending an invitation to the TV host. “I know it’s gonna be fun to plan because I think the only stressful weddings are the ones where you have a small amount and people are on the bubble.”
As the “Cruel Summer” singer explained, having fewer guests often means you “have to evaluate or assess your relationship” with someone to see if they should be there.
And as she summed up, “I’m not gonna do that.”
Though the 36-year-old noted how the couple’s big day is “gonna be fun,” she quickly questioned her revelations. As she put it, “I shouldn’t have said any of that.”

Two months earlier, Kelce, also 36, popped the question to Swift in his backyard, which he transformed into an enchanted garden on the same day they recorded her episode of his New Heights podcast, which released Aug. 13.
“We filmed the podcast for about three or four hours,” she recalled. “Meanwhile, behind his house he was having the whole back garden turned into this.
As for how they were able to get such incredible photos from the momentous occasion, which the pair shared on social media weeks later?
“One of the things he’d put in there very strategically was a wall of hedges that weren’t there before,” Swift explained. “And inside the hedges was my tour photographer hiding in bushes that had not previously been there. He went all out—10 out of 10.”
And the hidden touch paid off, as Swift added, “It’s really fun that we actually have the exact moment.”
