Watch: Alix Earle Details Crying After Reuniting With Ex Braxton Berrios
Alix Earle isn’t interested in shedding tears on the dancefloor.
But that’s easier said than done for the influencer, who ran into her ex Braxton Berrios at a club in Miami May 24, more than five months after breaking up.
“I saw my ex tonight, but we’re on good terms, so it was like, normal and fine,” Alix said in her TikTok video posted May 25. “We were joking around with each other with someone that we are both friends with.”
“It was funny and fun and then it wasn’t,” she admitted while taking off her makeup, “because it kept turning into me looking around the place the whole night, being like, ‘Hmm, where is he?’ I think that really sucked, like just catching myself doing that.”
The 25-year-old tried to play it cool while mingling with the Houston Texans wide receiver at the Palm Tree Club.
“It’s hard when you see someone for a second and it’s fun and normal,” but reflected, “but that’s just a dose of it. That’s done. That started to hit me.”
As Alix—who sparked romance rumors with Tom Brady earlier this year—danced with her friends, they asked if she was crying.
“And crying, I was,” she said. “But sometimes, you just can’t help it. Sometimes you’re just a girl and sometimes water just falls out of your eyes and sometimes that happens and it’s OK.”
“So, I did the responsible thing and called myself a car home and cried to my dog,” she explained, emphasizing, “but I’m fine.”
Since Alix and Braxton split in December after two years of dating, the Dancing With the Stars alum hasn’t shied away from discussing her breakup journey, including brief IRL encounters.
“I was really emotional,” she recalled of their run-in at the Palm Tree Festival in February. “The first night we were like in the same place but we didn’t say hi to each other, just because I didn’t want to like go up and annoy him, I don’t know, but I could see him out the corner of my eye.”

“It’s weird when you go from someone being like your best friend to being a stranger in the corner of the room,” she continued. “So that was tough. And by tough, I mean terrible.”
But she and the NFL star remained on good terms even in the immediate wake of their breakup, which she said stemmed from their long-distance dynamic.
“I want him to have someone with him 24/7 who can support him and be there for him,” she said in a December TikTok. “And he wasn’t really expecting that of me. I think it was more of a me thing, but I constantly felt guilty.”
“I love Braxton,” she said. “He’s my best friend, you know? So it’s been really difficult as we’re trying to go forward with this. It just kinda feels like we’re on two different paths right now and it suck. We’re on good terms and I don’t want anyone to come for him or to be mean to him.”
