Ali Larter Makes Rare Red Carpet Appearance With Daughter Vivienne

While the move was supposed to only last a short while, the family found themselves drawn to their new surroundings and soon made it permanent. 

“We fell in love with the beauty of the mountains and their quiet grandness,” Larter toldRue magazine in 2024. “Neither of us had ever lived in a small town before. People look out for each other. There’s a real sense of community here and we’re so happy to be a part of it.” 

She and MacArthur also made it their priority to create a home that was specifically tailored to their family’s needs, with the kitchen taking center stage. 

“We believe in the importance of family dinner and it’s great when the kitchen, which is flooded with light—becomes the most beautiful part of the home,” the Heroes actress shared. “But I love water rings on old marble tables and the timeless character of the stone.”

“Looking at the mountains relaxes and inspires me,” she added. “Most of the time in my life, I feel like I’m going 1,000 miles an hour and these giant rocks chill me out.”
