Alabama baseball has officially been named a national seed in the 2026 NCAA Tournament.
The 16 national seeds were announced on NCAA social media accounts on Sunday, May 24.

Alabama earned a No. 1 overall seed back-to-back seasons in 1996 and 1997. The Crimson Tide was the No. 4 seed when super regionals were introduced in 1999 and again 2006.
D1Baseball predicts that Alabama will be the No. 7 overall seed, which would guarantee hosting regionals, as well as super regionals, in Tuscaloosa. The Crimson Tide would host Jacksonville State, UCF and Long Island in the latest projection.
Before an early SEC Tournament exit in a 13-3 run-rule loss, Alabama finished the regular season 37-18 with an 18-12 record in conference play.
Regionals will be held at Sewell-Thomas Stadium starting Friday, May 29.
