Loaded with talent from top to bottom, All Elite Wrestling kicked off its first-ever Redemption Pay-Per-View with a bang from Montreal, Quebec, Canada’s Bell Centre.
As superstars were put to the limit and titles changed hands in multiple high-stakes matches, AEW proved once again why they are one of the hottest wrestling companies in North America.

Kicking off the Redemption Buy-In, The Conglomeration and The Lethal Twist took each other to the limit as Jay Lethal dialed back the clock in an attempt to put gold on Blake Christian and Lee Johnson. However, the teamwork and “friendship” of The Conglomeration would help the trio retain their championship titles.

6-Way Ladder Match (Winner Gets an AEW International Title Shot): “Jungle” Jack Perry vs. “Speedball” Mike Bailey vs. Komander vs. The Beast Mortos vs. Nick Wayne vs. El Clon
Winner: “Speedball” Mike Bailey
Beginning the PPV was an action-packed ladder match, full of highlight moments thanks to Nick Wayne and the other talented high flyers. After all the carnage, it would be home crowd favorite “Speedball” Mike Bailey to come down with the elusive contract for a shot at the AEW International Title.
Will Ospreay & Jon Moxley vs. Young Bucks (Matt and Nick Jackson)

Has Will Ospreay finally reached his limit with the Death Riders? Sunday’s match may have been the first domino to fall as Ospreay prevented Jon Moxley from utilizing a chair on Nick Jackson late in the match. This would ultimately shift the tide in the Young Bucks’ favor, giving them the win over the two Death Rider members.
AEW International Championship Match: Kyle Fletcher (c) vs. Bandido
Winner: Kyle Fletcher (c)
A dream moment for true AEW “sickos”, Kyle Fletcher and Bandido finally locked horns for the AEW International Championship, leaving no doubt that they are indeed among the top young stars in the company. Punishing each other for over 25 minutes, both men put on a classic that could very well compete for match of the night among fans.

Double Chain Match: Bang Bang Gang’s Juice Robinson & Jay White vs. The Dogs’ David Finlay & Clark Connors
Winner: The Dogs’ David Finlay & Clark Connors
Certainly far from over, The Dogs and Bang Bang Gang went to battle in one of wrestling’s most interesting stipulations: a double chain match. With each team getting their respective blows in, it seemed like the Bang Bang Gang’s Jay White and Juice Robinson were going to come home with a win before an interference from the Death Riders Daniel Garcia, Wheeler Yuta, and Marina Shafir would help give The Dogs a victory at Redemption.
TBS Championship Match: Hikaru Shida (c) vs. Maya World
Winner: Maya World (new champion)

In a match between one of AEW’s veteran women wrestlers, Hikaru Shida, versus a rising star on the roster, Maya World, it would be the “it girl” Maya World on her 24th birthday, winning her very first AEW belt against Shida to become the new TBS Champion.
AEW World Tag Team Championship Match: Adam Copeland & Christian Cage (c) vs. PAC & Claudio Castagnoli
Winner: Adam Copeland & Christian Cage (c)
Fighting in their homeland of Canada, Adam Copeland and Christian Cage were on the defensive even before the bell rang, as Death Rider members PAC and Claudio Castagnoli brought the fight to the AEW tag team champions. Mounting little offense throughout the match, Copeland and Cage were still able to turn the tables on the Death Riders tag team to retain their championships.

No Holds Barred: “The Painmaker” Jericho vs. “Psycho Killer” Tommaso Ciampa
Winner: “The Painmaker” Jericho
It’s been a while since AEW had a match that made you question just how much pain a wrestler can take, but after Jericho and Tommaso Ciampa’s No Holds Barred match, the bar may have been raised. From thumbtacks, barbed wire, and glass mirrors, there were no limitations to the weapons these men would use, with Jericho picking up the win via drill submission. Yes, you read that right, drill submission.
AEW National Championship Match: Mark Davis (c) vs. Andrade El Ídolo
Winner: Andrade El ídolo (new champion)

One of the night’s highly anticipated battles, Don Callis’ family member, Mark Davis, and Andrade had a slugfest for AEW’s National Championship. Andrade, who’s been on a path for revenge on his former friends in the Don Callis family, put a major blow into the stable’s title collection, defeating Davis to become the new AEW National Champion.
AEW Women’s World Championship Match: Thekla (c) vs. Willow Nightingale
Winner: Willow Nightingale (new champion)
Two fan favorites, Thekla and Willow Nightengale, put together a heavy-hitting matchup, forcing each woman to dig deep into their bag and test their resiliency. However, it would be Nightingale to become the first women’s Grand Slam champion as she put a halt to Thekla’s five-month run to secure her first AEW Women’s World Championship.

AEW World Championship Match: Kenny Omega (c) vs. Kevin Knight

In Kevin Knight’s first one-on-one pay-per-view main event, he attempted to get the jump on AEW World Champion Kenny Omega before the match even began. Unfortunately for Knight, it only fueled the champion to deliver even more punishment throughout the match, which the challenger certainly felt. Knight had fans on the edge of their seat at a potential last-minute comeback, but with Omega in front of his countrymen, the “God of Pro Wrestling” willed his way to a win to retain.
