Hundreds of delegates and supporters of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) flooded the Rainbow Event Centre in Abuja on Tuesday, April 14, 2026, leading to chaotic scenes.
The large crowds were seen struggling to gain access to the national convention, as seen in an online video.
Addressing the crowd of eager party men and women, one of the delegates said, “It’s almost impossible to enter the ADC national convention, the crowd is so much, everybody is tired of this government.”
It was earlier reported by DAILY POST that over 3,000 delegates have converged on the Rainbow Event Centre in Abuja for the ongoing national convention of the African Democratic Congress (ADC).
The ADC had faced challenges of getting a suitable venue for the convention, and alleged that application made to the autyhorities for the use of Eagle square or Moshood Abiola National Stadium was rejected.
