You might have noticed a slightly different look when visiting ProPublica’s website lately or seeing our content on platforms like Apple News or Instagram. We’ve refreshed our logo and fonts, and enhanced the design, functionality, and presentation of our homepage and projects. We wanted to take a moment to explain what’s changed and why. The most noticeable changes on our homepage are structural. A lot of our investigations include supplementary materials, such as visual explainers, info on our methods, or options for submitting tips. Our new design bundles these elements together, making it simpler for you to get the complete overview. We’re also featuring more of our top archived investigations, giving readers a chance to catch up on reporting they might have overlooked. The updated homepage lets us bundle investigations with supporting resources like our methodology or translations, while highlighting our visual journalism more effectively. We’ve also enhanced article displays with added details on our journalists and partners, including their photos and secure ways to contact them if you’d like to contribute to our work. A number of our articles are offered in additional languages or can be heard via audio narration. These options are now more prominent, but we’re also working to keep the focus on what matters most: our reporting and visual storytelling. ProPublica’s logo and typefaces are new too.
