The Blues lost 1-0 to Manchester United on Saturday evening, their fourth consecutive league defeat without scoring.

Chelsea currently sit sixth, seven points behind Liverpool who occupy the final Champions League place, but more worryingly they are only one point ahead of Brighton and Everton in ninth and tenth.
Rosenior is coming under growing pressure following the poor run of form, and will be fully aware anything other than a win against Brighton will see that grow even more.
Fabrizio Romano has reported the Blues are still backing Rosenior, but football’s a results based business, and if things don’t change quickly he’ll find himself out of a job.

With five games remaining qualifying for the Champions League is a very difficult task, but Rosenior has called on the players to “stand up for the shirt and fight.”
“The first thing is we can’t be looking to other teams or other results, we have to look to ourselves. That’s what you have to do,” he told Chelsea’s website.
“It’s easy to say these words, but it’s about belief and keeping the faith. The way you do that is you work as hard as you can, with as much quality as you possibly can, and you turn things around.
“It’s about character now; it’s about standing up. It’s about people who are willing, in difficult moments, to stand up for the shirt and fight. That’s what I’m looking for tomorrow.

“But I believe in them, and I believe that we can come through this period so much stronger, but we have to get this part right now.”
