During an appearance on NFL Network’s “Good Morning Football,” former NFL wide receiver Isaiah Stanback delivered a fiery defense of Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Aaron Rodgers and his calculated, win-first approach.
Responding to critics who fixate on individual box scores, Stanback made it clear that the 40-plus-year-old future Hall of Famer is driven entirely by championship ambition at this stage of his career, completely unbothered by personal statistics.

“You’re talking about a 40-plus-year-old man that has a Super Bowl ring that’s probably playing in the last year of his career, and he wants to win another ring. He doesn’t give a doggone about the stats. The only stat line he cares about is the W. That’s all he cares about,” explained Stanback.
“Last week, he threw the ball to seven different people, and the one who had the most was Michael Pittman Jr., who had 58 yards. So he doesn’t care as long as the result ends up in a W. That’s his ultimate admission, and that’s all he’s cared about, so you can miss him with the rest of the BS.”
