The Director-General of Relax, Tinubu Is Fixing Nigeria (RTIFN), Hon. Ahmed Bala, has called on the people of the South-South geopolitical zone to rally behind President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s re-election bid in 2027, citing the administration’s achievements in infrastructure development, economic reforms, energy security and renewed attention to the Niger Delta region.

Hon. Bala made the remarks while speaking with journalists on the sidelines of the presidential campaign rally in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, where political stakeholders, youth leaders and supporters gathered to mobilise support for President Tinubu’s 2027 presidential ambition.

According to Hon. Bala, the administration’s economic reforms must be assessed not only by their immediate difficulties but also by their potential to strengthen Nigeria’s productive capacity, attract investment, improve infrastructure and create sustainable opportunities for future generations.

He emphasised that the people of the South-South deserve tangible development, improved living conditions, greater economic opportunities and a stronger voice in the nation’s development agenda.

The RELAX DG also stressed the importance of youth participation in economic development, explaining that the mission of RTIFN extends beyond political mobilisation to encouraging young Nigerians to embrace entrepreneurship, innovation, agriculture, skills acquisition and productive economic activities.

He noted that Nigeria’s transformation cannot be achieved by government alone but requires the active participation of citizens, particularly young people whose energy, creativity and entrepreneurial potential remain essential to national development.

Hon. Bala further highlighted the strategic importance of the Niger Delta to the Federal Government’s efforts to increase crude oil production, strengthen energy security, improve government revenue and attract investment into the petroleum sector.

He expressed optimism that sustained attention to infrastructure, environmental concerns, industrial development and investment opportunities would help position the region for greater economic prosperity.

Speaking on the 2027 presidential election, the RELAX DG called for a development-focused assessment of President Tinubu’s administration, urging political stakeholders and residents of the South-South to consider the government’s reform agenda, ongoing projects and long-term economic objectives.

He maintained that the region should remain actively engaged in national political discussions and support policies capable of delivering lasting development.

Relax, Tinubu Is Fixing Nigeria (RTIFN), is a sister organisation to the City Boy Movement, under the leadership of its Founder-in-Chief, Barrister Seyi Tinubu. Both organisations share a commitment to promoting awareness of President Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda, encouraging youth participation in national development and mobilising public support for the administration’s policies and programmes.

Under the leadership of Hon. Ahmed Bala, RTIFN has continued to engage Nigerians across the country’s geopolitical zones, promoting constructive national conversations on economic reforms, infrastructure development, youth empowerment and the collective responsibility of citizens in building a more prosperous Nigeria.

The Port Harcourt presidential campaign rally forms part of growing political activities ahead of the 2027 general elections, with the South-South emerging as an important region in the mobilisation of support for President Tinubu’s re-election ambition.
