The Nigeria Democratic Congress, NDC, presidential candidate, Peter Obi has declared that President Bola Tinubu lacks the energy to continue ruling Nigeria.
Obi charged Tinubu to “go home” after the 2027 presidential election because he is tired.
Speaking at a town hall meeting in Calabar, Cross River State, Obi urged Nigerians to vote for a competent leader with capacity and commitment to rebuilding the country.
He said: “We want you to go out and help us, elect somebody who is competent, somebody who has capacity, with compassion and commitment to building another Nigeria.
“We want to build a country where a child of a nobody can be somebody without knowing anybody.
“Tinubu is tired, he does not have the energy for the job, he should go home.”
