The Brazilian “party” was only not complete because Cerro PorteƱo and Universidad Católica also beat Sporting Cristal and Boca Juniors, respectively, and advanced as group winners.
That means everything is set for the draw organized by Conmebol at the entity’s headquarters in Luque, Paraguay, this Friday (29), starting at 12 p.m. (BrasĆlia time), which will determine the round of 16 matchups in the Libertadores.
The teams that finished first in their groups will be placed in Pot 1 and will face teams from Pot 2, that is, those that advanced in second place.
There are no restrictions whatsoever for the matchups, except that a Pot 1 team must face a Pot 2 team.
