The FBI and Europol have dismantled “Obsidian,” a major illegal dark web marketplace, in an operation named “Blackout.” Six administrators were arrested, servers seized in three countries, and around $45 million in cryptocurrency confiscated. Attorney General Merrick Garland emphasized the operation’s significant impact on cybercrime infrastructure.
