    Watch: Miley Cyrus Confirms She Dated Dylan Sprouse During Disney Days

    Miley Cyrus got to live the suite life for a little bit.

    Indeed, the Hannah Montana star confirmed she “secretly” dated The Suite Life of Zack & Cody alum Dylan Sprouse during the pair’s early days at Disney Channel.

    “Dylan Sprouse was my boyfriend,” Miley told Alex Cooper during the Hannah Montana 20th Anniversary Special, which premiered on Disney+ and Hulu March 24. “I think he was the cutest.”

    Responding to past rumors that she and Dylan were an item, the “Flowers” singer added, “It’s true, confirmed.”

    Plus, Miley recalled that during their relationship, she got to spend quality time with both Dylan and his brother Cole Sprouse—though she only had eyes for one of the twins.

    “Dylan was my crush,” she continued. “Their dad would take us to sushi. I was into the whole culture, and it was a two-for-one. Like, bring the brother. Hello!”

    And Miley really got the best of both worlds as she and Dylan, alongside Cole and Raven-Symoné, were also costars on a three-episode crossover special in 2006 titled That’s So Suite Life of Hannah Montana that combined their respective shows and That’s So Raven.

    Nearly two decades ago, Dylan—who tied the knot with model Barbara Palvin in 2023—alluded to “kind of relatively” dating Miley when he was about 11 or 12.

    “We met at her set, I believe, and we dated,” he joked on Jimmy Kimmel Live! in 2008. However, he referenced a fellow Disney star as the downfall of his relationship, adding, “And then Nick Jonas walked by and it was over.”

    As for how Miley feels about the Jonas Brothers member following their tumultuous teenage breakup in 2007?

    “I like Nick, I’m into him,” she said on the Every Single Album podcast in June. “He’s married with children. We’re all moving on. Everything is good in the world.”

    In fact, Miley—who is now engaged to fellow musician Maxx Morando—added she is “Niley for life.”
