Immigration adviser ‘exploited’ client with $12,000 fee for simple visa

An Auckland immigration adviser has been found to have charged a client $12,000 for a visa application that should have cost less than $3,500. The disciplinary tribunal labelled the fee “exploitative” and “unfair”.
