Add Canada Post service to the list of things being disrupted by the soccer World Cup.

In Vancouver, street mailboxes in neighbourhoods near the fan festival at the PNE fairgrounds and near B.C. Place won’t get service.

“As Canada excitedly prepares to co-host the FIFA World Cup 2026 in Vancouver and Toronto, Canada Post wants customers to be aware of minor service interruptions as the host cities safely welcome fans from around the world,” the federal agency said in a news release.

From June 11 to 19 and during match days, service will be disrupted to several street letter mailboxes near the two venues. The fan fest will run from as early as 8 a.m. and as late as midnight each day. Here are the match days and start times:

• Saturday, June 13, 9 p.m.: Australia vs. Turkey (no mail delivery on Saturdays)
• Thursday, June 18, 3 p.m.: Canada vs. Qatar
• Sunday, June 21, 6 p.m.: New Zealand vs. Egypt (no mail delivery on Sundays)
• Wednesday, June 24, noon: Canada vs. Switzerland
• Friday, June 26, 8 p.m.: New Zealand vs. Belgium
• Thursday, July 2, 8 p.m.: Round of 32
• Tuesday, July 7, 1 p.m.: Round of 16

Street mailboxes that will be cleared and sealed before match days (including weekend games) are as follows:

• Near intersection of East Pender Street and Main Street
• 118 Robson St.
• 840 Cambie St.
• 555 Abbott St.
• Mailbox at 1105 Granville St. will be moved to the southwest corner on Helmcken Street

Service disruptions aren’t anticipated for postal codes that begin with V6A, V6B and V6Z, and services to commercial customers in the area of the event locations will not be affected.
