Watch: Brandi Glanville Says She May Have Contracted “Sexually Transmitted Ringworm” in Her Throat
Brandi Glanville has some concerns about her sexual health.
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum shared she may have contracted a form of ringworm after having oral sex with a recent partner.
“I have a quick question. Have you heard about sexually transmitted ringworm?” Brandi asked Lisa Ann on the May 21 episode of the Bravo star’s Brandi Unfiltered podcast. “I feel like I might have it.”
As for where the 53-year-old believes she may have contracted the infection, “in my throat.”
The reality TV star also shared she believes she was exposed to the disease—which is defined as a rash caused by fungal infection, per Mayo Clinic—after dating somebody who “did a lot of wrestling.”
“He would only, you know, my face because he didn’t want to get me pregnant,” Brandi said of the unnamed lover. “He didn’t know that ship had sailed. I’m like, ‘OK, whatever, I’m not going to correct you.’”
Though Brandi admitted she already underwent multiple tests to rule out more common sexually transmitted diseases in her throat, which came back negative, she only recently began thinking on what else could be going on.
“I really just heard about ringworm yesterday,” she explained. “You see them when it’s on the outside of your skin but they can burrow.”
“If it’s in your throat,” she added, “they can burrow deep into your ears and all that.”

But it’s not lost on Brandi that she can sometimes jump to conclusions when it comes to her health. As she put it, “Here’s the thing I think of something new every day.”
Recently, Brandi—mom to sons Mason, 22, and Jake, 19, with ex-husband Eddie Cibrian—shared her yearslong health struggle with a “facial parasite” may have been the result of keeping her breast implants in too long.
Indeed, they “had completely ruptured, and I had silicone all over my lymph nodes,” Brandi told TMZ Feb. 18. “And that’s what caused the infection in my face and couldn’t get out because my lymph nodes were all clogged.”
Since her diagnosis, Brandi has since gotten her breast implants removed, as well as undergone noninvasive procedures to repair the damage done to her face.

And though the podcast host hopes her experience is a cautionary tale for other women to get their breast implants examined regularly, her goal is never to stop others from making desired changes to their bodies.
“Do what you want,” she said. “Have a good time. Just keep on checking on it. Even if it looks good and feels good, check them.”
