A Vol for Life familiar with the Neyland Stadium gridiron returned to the football field to find a baseball diamond May 23, joining the Savannah Bananas in entertaining roughly 101,000 fans in Knoxville.
Coming into the game as a pinch runner – but first, a dance to “Walk It Out” by DJ Unk – five-time NFL Pro Bowl selection and former Tennessee Volunteers running back Alvin Kamara quickly scored on an inning-clinching run for the Bananas.

The game kicked off with an opening pitch from Lady Vols softball star Karlyn Pickens.
The game, under Banana Ball rules, should end around 9 p.m. based on the two-hour time limit.
