Alabama football has lost a piece in its 2027 recruiting class.
Colt Lumpris, a four-star tight end out of Lawrenceville, New Jersey, told On3 he would flip his commitment from the Crimson Tide to Michigan.

Lumpris is the No. 289 player and the No. 16 tight end in the 2027 recruiting class, per 247Sports’ composite rankings.
Alabama now has one tight end its 2027 class: Liverpool, New York three-star Oakley Keegan, who committed to the Crimson Tide March 21.

With Lumpris’ departure, Alabama has six commits in its 2027 class, headlined by five-star quarterback Elijah Haven.
